Glad you asked. As we indicated earlier this year, a number of up-grades were planned.
First – The Track was resurfaced late last fall. The running lanes are once again clearly marked.
Next – replacing the artificial turf at Kezer Field (aka BB-2). Work began in March, and is
expected to be completed in early May. We’ll have brand new turf, including the pitcher’s
mound and the batter’s boxes.

Finally – the Playground is being replaced! The old playground has been removed, some of the
sand has been moved around, and the new Playground will be set-up very soon. It, too, is
expected to be completed in early May.

One new item – We are having a ADA worthy access to the Dog Park made. That means that the
Dog Park will be closed around the end of the month for about a week. There will be signs at
the Dog Park. Please have the courtesy to obey the signs while we improve the Dog Park.
A reminder: If you want to use a field, you must make a Reservation Request and follow the
rules for that request. Click on the “About” tab, click on the “About the Park” drop down, and
scroll down to the “Field Use Policy” link. Please read them carefully and completely. They have
recently been up-dated and there are some new requirements
